"The Moisture Control People"

Electric Banjo II

Burlison Gin in Burlison, TN uses the Banjo II in its Collider Drying
System to maintain maximum air volume in the heaviest cotton.

The Air Control 8 for the Banjo II makes
setup and operation easier than ever.

30% more air volume out of a conventional high performance fan/motor combination makes the Electric Banjo the tool of choice for gins that are serious about maintaining robust air volume in all ginning conditions. The Banjo works by inducing a swirling action into the air at the fan's inlet to load and unload it. It does this with a single vane that allows trash and dirt to easily pass through the pull fan. Imagine a pull fan operating at well above normal speed, without slide gates, and without danger of tripping the motor overload circuits at startup. That is the advantage the Banjo provides!

The Banjo II has several improvements including more reliable components and user-friendly controls with the Air Control 8. The most visible component improvement is a pneumatic actuator for the vane. The pneumatic actuator is powerful, reliable, and less expensive to maintain. Air Control 8 makes the Banjo easy to setup and monitor and is even Moisture Mirror 3X and 4X compatible.
